To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Metal Gear, Medicom produced a series of 5 figures depicting the key protagonists from the series. The set includes Solid Snake and Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Naked Snake from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and 2 versions of Old Snake from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

The Stealth Snake variant seems to be quite rare on auction sites. Originally displayed at the New York Toy Fair in February 2008, the figure had a rather quiet release. Even now, I'm not entirely sure where it was made available. From what I can gather, the figure was a Gamestation exclusive in the UK, though it is unknown if the figure is only available in a set number.

This particular figure has quite the backstory. I had to tape up the box after the figure arrived in my possesion opened. This was after the figure had been despatched to me brand new and unopened. Packaged in a lightly padded envelope with most of the bubble wrap popped, the blister pack was seperated from the backing card in transit.
