The Art of Metal Gear Solid is an artbook featuring pages of concept art, character designs and illustrations for press purposes for Metal Gear Solid 1. This is the original version featuring just MGS1 art, unlike "The Art of Metal Gear Solid 1.5" which was a rerelease featuring new artwork from Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. This version is widely regarded as being the more valuable of the two.
