Metal Gear Saga Vol. 1 is a DVD that was only available by placing a pre-order for Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence at GameStop stores in the US. Eventually it got a European release with the release of the Platinum Version of Snake Eater, but this was restricted to continental Europe only. The DVD never made it to the UK, or so is my understanding as I have never seen it in Britain.

The DVD itself is a look back at the series in chronological order alongside an interview with Hideo Kojima, who talks you through each game with insights into the development of the series.
