Metal Gear Solid 2: Bande Dessinée was originally planned as the sequel to the PSP title - Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel. Instead, the MGS2 Digital Graphic Novel received a DVD release. I suspect this may be because of the lack of Memory Scanning modes as seen in the PSP version of the original.

Packaged with the original Bande Dessinée on DVD, both discs feature full voice acting by the Japanese voice cast for MGS1 and 2 and Ashley Wood's artwork, as seen in the MGS comics from which the Digital Graphic Novels are based.
