Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater takes the familiar framework of MGS2 and throws the player out into a whole new and unfamiliar setting. Adding a new jungle setting, the new CQC feature, and the extensive use of camouflage to blend in with your surroundings. The PAL version of the game included the demo theater, additional Snake vs Monkey mini game levels, Duel Mode and international flag facepaints. Content that the rest of the world wouldn't get their hands on until the release of Subsistence.

This promotional version was only released to stores and magazines for reviewing. The myth about Promo versions is that they're only samples of the game. This is not the case. The promo versions are actually the full game in their own unique packaging.
