This demo for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty was released with Official PlayStation Magazine, after the announcement of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. MGS2 was included, according to the disc, to "whet your appetite for version three". Featuring the final build of MGS2, the demo goes beyond the original trial and gives players a chance to explore the engine room before cutting off upon reaching Deck 2.
