This demo disc was released with "Official PlayStation Magazine" in November 1999. Players were able to sample the additional missions disc by taking on a few of the weapon training missions. As far as I know, this is the only way to play Special Missions on a PAL PlayStation 2 or PlayStation 3 due to the Disc Check that Special Missions performs because it requires a copy of the original Metal Gear Solid.
