Metal Gear Solid: Integral is the expanded re-release of the original Metal Gear Solid. It is known as "VR Missions" in North America and "Special Missions" in Europe. The Japanese release came as a bonus disc, packaged with both discs for the original Metal Gear Solid. However, the original MGS had a few additional features. These included a silenced MP5 submachine gun with infinite ammo which Snake would start the game with on easier difficulties and hidden codec frequencies that would play music when called. This is the "Konami The Best" version, part of what is effectively Konami's own "Platinum" or "Greatest Hits" range.
